A History into the Genovian National Team

The Genovian Football Association was founded in 2002. However, before the emergence of the GFA, a team called Royal Genovia started to play in the Spanish League. It was a superb combination of players. The players that played for Royal Genovia were none other then the players that had embraced the Gen Knights with success and glory for the past decade. Royal Genovia won 2 Spanish Cup in a row.
Royal Genovia showed an amazing class of football. The world was shocked when they noticed that the new crown colony had a special gifted talent in football. Royal Genovia even gave recognition to the team for their amazing success. The boys who were being coached by Randy Truman had been an inspiring as well as magnificent bunch of players. In the past, they were known as Randy's Boys but now they were known as Gen Knights.
Royal Genovia still went strong the second season. Again, they emerged as champions of the league. Ezad, who was the captain of the team did a remarkable achievement by leading the side to their second win. The players in the Royal Genovia FC had once again proved to the world that they are world class footballers. A message to other tops clubs out there. Five years later, these boys created a history of their own.
A League of their Own
After two seasons in the Spanish League, it's time for Genovia to set up a league of their own. That was the time Royal Genovia FC broke up and every players went their own way. Among the fiercest team in the Genovian League was Atlantic City. They were the most fearsome team in the Era Liga. Even in the European Champions League, they can sometimes create trouble for teams like AC Milan, Real Madrid etc.
Atlantic City was one of the biggest and prosperous club in the Genovian Era Liga. Most of the national team stars started their soccer carrier here. Players like Khalid, Hilman, Radzi, Nurislam, Haffiz, Farkhan, Ranjit and many others were among the rising stars at that time. Atlantic City were always among the favourites to mount the Era Liga Cup every season.
What started as a boyhood club for these players became a reality club after a millionaire sponsored their gears and built a Stadium for these players. Hence, Atlantic City FC took shape.
At one point of time, Atlantic City slipped down to second place when underdog, Azalect FC stole the Era Liga Cup away from Atlantic City. It was a year where Azalect FC did the unexpected. That will be the very first and the last time Azalect won the Era Liga trophy. After that year, Azalect have never win the title again. A memorable year in Azalect FC's history.
But again after the season where Azalect won the title, Atlantic City regained their composure. A team full of prospect. Champions and again champions. Unbeatable and unstoppable. Atlantic City went to greater heights when they started to compete at the European stages. Who would have thought that these boys could climbed this far??? Atlantic City had done Genovia proud. They were the first ever Genovian club to be listed in the Champions League groupings. But after retaining the trophy for the next two seasons, their happiness and success were short lift. Throughout all the glory that they achieve, Atlantic City came close to a bankruptcy after one by one, their investors fall back on the club. As the result, Atlantic City had to sell off most of their stars. But Atlantic City kept on fighting for championship.
Another underdog emerged from the sidelines. Coca Cabanggo FC, also known as The Gamblers got a lucky break when they won their first Era Liga title. A side that was captained by Ed Izwandy won the double after beating Crestown Palace for the Genovian League Cup and beating Atlantic City for the Royal Genovian Cup. Again, it's a side that won the cup for that season after which, another underdog took over.
The following season was an underdog season. The Era Liga title went to Northampton, GFA Cup to Turkdish FC and the Royal Genovian Cup went to Vondetta CF. Atlantic City almost couldn't concentrate on the matches as they are facing too many club crisis. First, their board of director pulled out their shares in the club. Then, Atlantic City had to sell most of their star players. Things got worsened for The West Sides.
Hilman was a part of Atlantic City glorious days. But he didn't really originated from that club. Hilman started from Royal Sporting FC. A club that was owned by his extended family. Wilhem then bought him over for a season. It was later after that season, Wilhem mounted the championship that Atlantic City bought him over.
The Emergence of Red Baron FC
As the season carried on, Atlantic City misery got even greater. They only managed to secure the GFA Cup but wasn't able to recapture the Era Liga title. The title instead went to money bags spenders, Red Baron FC. Red Baron then started the new era in the Genovian Era Liga. They became arch rivals to Atlantic City. Ever since Hilman, Haffiz and Khalid joined the Barons, things started to look sore for Atlantic City but tremendously great for the Barons who were climbing up the ladder really quick. Red Baron is the number 1 contender for the title every single season.
Red Baron was way too good for the other teams to beat. They won double almost every season. Even Atlantic City found it hard to resist the mighty Barons. Now, the new order really deliver. They took over the prestige and glory of Atlantic City which had once embraced the Era Liga with their amazing runs. Red Baron had the criteria and quality to mount a great and successful team.
Red Baron had indeed started a new revolution in the history of the Genovian Era Liga. They had won trebles after trebles and also came close in the Champions League. Atlantic City had been subdued when Red Baron loaned Radzi. It was too intense for clubs to eliminate them.
